Introduction
Fellow gamer from semi-nearby Sarasota looking to try out new games and meet new people. Been to a couple game nights already and looking forward to many more!
Why did you join this group? What are you hoping to get from it and how can we help make that happen?
I want to meet people and try new games. I came to the last 2 meetups and had a great time -- tried a few games I had been wanting to try for a long time, which I will probably go out and buy soon, and I've got my eyes on a few others...
What is/are your favorite game(s) and why? What game(s) do you not like to play and why?
Favorite game -- Risk, because it has just the right mix of many things -- strategy, competition, teamwork, socializing, fun, luck, etc. Least fave -- I guess Trivial Pursuit -- not a terrible game, but too long and kind of a one trick pony.
Are you more interested in party games or strategy games?
