Introduction
Hi! I'm Nicole, and this is my fiance Dorian; we are BIG TIME gamers. Dorian and I are adult professionals who lead busy lives, and gaming is pretty much all we do in our very sparse free time. We'd love to meet a similar gaming group in St. Pete!
Why did you join this group? What are you hoping to get from it and how can we help make that happen?
We're interested in meeting down to earth individuals who game in the Saint Petersburg area. Like our introduction says, we are middle age adults who would like to find similar company to play whatever. Our play time is restricted to Friday's and Saturday's, with Saturday afternoon until the wee hours of Sunday being our favorite time slot. We have a house to game at that can accommodate several people as long as you don't mind "couch" gaming. But we'd like to meet and game elsewhere a few times prior to gaming here, just in case. :)
What is/are your favorite game(s) and why? What game(s) do you not like to play and why?
D&D -- All versions, but have played a lot of 1st and 2nd edition for a long time, that they're no longer of interest. Into 3.5 and 4th currently. Call of Cthulhu Shadowrun Star Wars d6 Boardgames (i.e. we have Arkham Horror, Mansions of Maddness, Zombies!, Illuminati, and are also into those new DND boardgames like Castle Ravenloft) -- always willing to try more!
Are you more interested in party games or strategy games?
Both are good.

Welcome to the group. I'm also in St. Pete and know a few others over on this side of the bay, unfortunately, most of the people in this meet up are on the Tampa side of the bay, so we have limited numbers of games going on our side. Good luck in finding a game and I'll keep you in mind if I end up needing a couple of players.
