You should do this again.

But seriously, stop trying to convince people you're not weird. It's pretty obvious. ;)

Ok. So you admit to being weird, but draw the line at totally weird. Because sitting in a coffee shop playing Battlestar Galactica yelling "You're a Cylon!" and other random gamer lines is only *moderately* weird. Riiiight. ;)

We didn't get to play my casino game - you suddenly started not wanting to learn a new game. And I know it had nothing to do with the migraine Titan caused.

What tabletop games do you play, and where are you?

My head was spinning after Titan, lol. I live in Tyrone and the game is a home brew system. We game on alternating sundays. We want to alternate from the 26th and then everyother sunday following from there. But I think we are getting together next sunday also but I will have to check with the group to comfirm that.

Cylon is a completely noraml-ish gaming experience btw...cylon...it's like a battle star galactica version of tourettes.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I guess from now on when someone bursts out "Cylon" I'll have to politely look away and not embarass them about their condition. Or maybe not.

I just joined a meetup for some Star Trek and D&D games in Seminole Mall on Saturday mornings.

Is your homebrew completely homebrew, or homebrew setting based in 3.5 or 4e rules?

The Star Trek game is a civilian game using the DS9 rules. I think I'm going to play an engineer. I don't know much about the D&D game yet.

I know this thread is kind of old, but I'm just wondering if this group ever does board game nights anymore, aside from the regular Saturday meetups. I haven't had a chance to come out to one yet, but this group sounds like a lot of fun. smile

We do, but usually they tend to be random, spur of the moment, text-message affairs of a few people. They also tend (at least in my experience) to be more of the strategy game types than the party games. Occasionally a few of us will head to the Globe on an off-Saturday, or someone will volunteer to host. If you're interested in an invite, email me your general location, and when there's one near you I'll let you know!
